Coaching
My approach: My key role as a coach is to partner with you for positive transformational change. It is a dynamic process that involves the interaction between your environment and who you are. I provide a structure, a safe space, and support for you to achieve your desired outcomes. Designing with you a process to best meet your needs keeps you in a fully capable position of directing your efforts and owning the results of your work. It is my responsibility to listen well, ask questions, create awareness, challenge, reveal, and hold attention to the change you want. This partnership can build on strengths and address liabilities. It can also make entirely new discoveries. It is always my intention to bring out the best in you and celebrate your wins. A successful engagement is characterized by a good “fit” between us that creates trust so can you make experience positive and transformational changes that achieve your desired outcomes.
My experience: I have coached executives and senior leaders in private business, government, public agencies, and non-profit organizations resulting in increased effectiveness and excellence in accomplishing goals and objectives. Both seasoned and new leaders experience change in personal performance and striking forward momentum in team efforts.

WORKSHOPS / TRAINING
My approach: I approach all workshops and speaking events with the perspective that all participants bring experiences that add value to our time together. Therefore, each design has high levels of engagement and relevance to participants’ current roles or circumstances. Immediate or targeted application is always the goal. Optimally, participants practice skills or create plans to ensure application and/or integration of what is learned. Most importantly, I am dedicated to the development of people and supporting their efforts for success.
My experience: I have over 20 years of experience in conducting workshops and training events. Some events are with consistent groups and focus on building skills and competencies. Others are single events.

BackgrounD
My career began in education and then continued in to a senior leadership role, and now I work independently or in collaboration with other coaches and trainers. The seasons of my career all have in common my desire to develop others and to join them in pursuit of their goals.
In my senior leadership role I led the development of a department which held an outstanding reputation within its community. It was known for its strong teams, consistent delivery of excellent programs, loyal constituents, creative innovation, and unswerving alignment with its mission and values. I was responsible for leading six divisions, training and leadership development, recruitment, and program design and management. I led a staff of 130, working with over 400 individuals at any given time. I also led teams and planned events spanning between one to five days and involving from 75 to 3,000 people. My regional senior leadership involved larger community events and serving for 20 years on an oversight committee for the professional development of individuals.
