SPEAKING
"The world is a university and everyone in it is a teacher. Make sure when you get up every morning you go to school."
- Bishop T.D. Jakes, Pastor, filmmaker, author
In general, our workshop designs are customized for our client and build off the organization’s purpose, values, and expressed focus areas for the engagement. We also have a variety of pre-designed workshops that can be customized to fit your needs. Our customary approach is high engagement, relevance to participant’s lives, opportunities for participant’s experiences to become part of the content, immediate application, and, of course, fun.
Additionally, some of our workshop designs include some form of feedback tool and individual coaching of participants. Workshops vary in length. Typical range is ½ day to 3 days.
Janet has addressed groups of 20 - 400. Audiences warmly receive Janet's engaging style.

Personality types are thought to be hard-wired into who we are. Fighting them rarely results in successful outcomes. By strengthening in-preference and out-of-preference behaviors individuals can optimize their value to an organization. By honoring and leveraging the strengths people’s personalities offer, teams get everyone’s best selves.
As a team leader, you learn what you can do to maximize and hinder your members’ performance and value. Some of the simplest practices can return huge benefits.
Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) you receive data describing the unique make-up of your team. The MBTI is an industry leader and offers development tools not often available with other assessments.
Use this half or full day workshop as a part of a team building retreat or as a solo event for your members. Individual coaching sessions are available for follow-up and designing personal applications.

Emotional Intelligence 101
Emotional Intelligence is becoming routine in organizations for hiring, promoting, and developing employees. It is foundational in parenting, for building friendships, and with interactions in our volunteer organizations. For success, it is twice as important as how smart you are, accounts for two-thirds of essential competencies, and is the strongest indicator for your performance. But what is it? This workshop makes accessible for everyone (not limited to professional settings), the basic components of emotional intelligence, the neuroscience behind it, and how it affects all of our relationships.
Connection in .07 Seconds – 6 Simple Steps to Never Skip for Establishing Connection with People
Have you ever wondered why some people have “it” for making strong connections with colleagues, customers, learners, stakeholders, even friends? Or how a person can shift a person or group from being resistant to being willing or enthusiastic and another person, in the same or similar setting, cannot?
This workshop makes available to everyone what some people do intuitively and gives the reasons why it works. It will give you tools for more personal success or for more success for the people you lead.

Words Create Worlds
"Getting to the next level of greatness depends on the quality of the culture, which depends on the quality of our relationships, which depends on the quality of our conversations. Everything happens through conversations." - Judith E. Glaser
The culture of our organizations (private, non-profit, public, religious) impacts our relationships. It even impacts our relationships extended through our organizations (customers, members, learners, partners, stakeholders). We all live in the world of relationships. They affect everything and they are established and maintained through conversations.
